Track and Field Asomex 2015

Asomex was awesome. This was my first Track and Field Asomex, and for being the first one and having very little preparation, I think I did really well. I literally prepared one week before the competition, and during this week I had an injury in my left leg. Both, my dad and doctor told me to rest until the competition. My dad suggested me to take some pills and I did.

My first competition was Friday and I didn't even knew I was running that day. I was told I was on the list for running 400 mts. I was scared, the most important competition for me was on Saturday. I didn't wanted to get more injured The first thing I thought was not running it, so I went with my coach and told him I didn't wanted to run. He told me it was okay. Some minutes later Ani, my girlfriend, came with me and I told her what had happened. She told me to run, she wanted to see me running. She gave all her support and told me she was sure I was going to win. She was like my motivation, so I quickly got changed and ran for my numbers. I got just in time, minutes before the competition started. I had no chance to stretch and get prepared for it.

I was nervous. I didn't knew anything about running 400 mts. Moments before the competition started, I asked my coach how should I run it. He told me to run 50 mts at max velocity and the rest maintain it at 70%. I didn't knew where 50 mts were. "Competitors in your marks." I heard this and got even more nervous. "Get set." At this time, I forgot about everything, I just stopped thinking. I didn't heard people shouting. Everything went off. Then, the gunshot. Everything was gone, everyone was gone. It was only me, running, trying to win. This were the longest 58 seconds of my life. The last 100 mts, I was dead, my legs wont work anymore. I looked back, there was this guy very close to me. I tried going faster, prolly I did. I don't know how, he didn't passed me. I won.
